Job Summary:

The Inventory Officer is responsible for managing the flow of goods within the organization, ensuring that products are received, stored, and issued accurately and efficiently. This role involves maintaining accurate records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring goods are available when needed. The Inventory Officer works closely with various teams to ensure smooth operations and prevent shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintained accurate inventory records using manual and computerized systems.
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage of all goods to maintain their condition and prevent damage.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile any differences.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to avoid shortages.
  • Coordinate the timely distribution and processing of orders across retail and online platforms.
  • Work with other fulfillment teams to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Oversee demand planning and inventory management across various retail outlets.
  • Manage efficient delivery routes and prioritize urgent orders.
  • Collaborate with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to align inventory with demand forecasts.
  • Handle returned goods, ensuring proper restocking, repairs, or disposal.
