Job Description

We are seeking a business-minded, passionate and reliable Management Accountant with at least 5 to 10 years experience, preferably with past interaction with foreign (US, UK, Australian) companies/clients/counterparts to assist senior management in making critical business decisions by analyzing and presenting key financial data. You will oversee accounting procedures and prepare forecasts, budgets and risk analysis. The goal is to contribute to the decision-making process of management that will ensure business growth and long-term success. 

Job Responsibilities: 

1. General/Management Accounting: 

  • Gather and analyze financial information for internal use 
  • Record accounting transactions accurately into the company’s book of accounts 
  • Support budgeting and funding 
  • Ensure consistent application of accounting standards and procedures 
  • Make forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making 
  • Conduct risk assessment and advise on ways to minimize risk 
  • Prepares monthly balance sheet, cash flow and P&L statements 
  • Ensures accounting records are filed accordingly 
  • Prepare monthly and weekly management reporting for internal and external use 
  • Able to manage accounting/bookkeeping for multiple companies simultaneously 
  • Able to prepare consolidated/group accounts 

2. Statutory and Tax Reporting: 

  • Ensure completion of all relevant tax commitments including the following:
    1. FBT
    2. Income Tax
    3. Transfer Pricing 
  • Monitors completion of activities related to the local tax payments on or before due dates 

3. Finance Control: 

  • Implement finance control procedures to ensure transactions are approved, recorded and completed correctly 
  • Interact with branch staff to investigate and resolve finance control issues 
  • Expenses analysis 
  • Transfer pricing management 
  • Budget forecasting and tracking
  • Internal control and audit

4. Payroll: 

  • Review payroll computation and resolve issues 
  • Maintain payroll computation systems and ensure integrity of payroll data 
  • Preparation of payroll reports 

5. Governance and Compliance: 

  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. 
  • Coordinate with company legal advisors to prepare reports and submissions New Venture Analysis: 

6. New Venture Search 

  • Market and feasibility analysis 
  • Marketing/sales team cost/benefit analysis 
  • Project financing (setting up budgets and tracking) 

7. Funding: 

  • Searching for grant or social enterprise funding opportunities (globally) 
  • Participate in accelerator programs to ramp up company’s capabilities
