Roles and responsibilities of this job

An Interior Designer is responsible for planning, designing, and supervising interior spaces to enhance functionality, aesthetics, and safety. They work closely with clients to understand requirements and translate them into practical and visually appealing designs.

Key Responsibilities

Meet clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
Develop design concepts, layouts, and space planning.
Prepare drawings, 3D models, and presentations using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max).
Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and color schemes.
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Visit sites to monitor progress and ensure design execution as planned.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
Manage project timelines and deliverables.
Handle client revisions and incorporate feedback

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Proven experience in interior design or a similar role
Strong creativity and design sense
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, LUMION, etc.)
Knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction techniques
Good communication and presentation skills
Project management and time management abilities
Attention to detail
