Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a creative and experienced Interior Designer who will be responsible for designing and overseeing the execution of interior design projects for our real estate developments. With at least 2 years of work experience in project execution, the ideal candidate will bring a blend of creativity, technical knowledge, and practical experience to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Create innovative and functional interior design concepts for residential and commercial real estate projects.
Develop detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and material specifications.
Oversee the implementation of interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Select and specify appropriate materials, furnishings, and finishes to achieve the desired design aesthetic and functional requirements.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, materials, and finishes available in the market.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
Present design concepts and progress updates to clients, incorporating feedback as necessary.
Conduct site visits to ensure the quality of work meets the company's standards and design intent.
Address any design-related issues or changes that arise during the construction phase.
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective design solutions.
Monitor expenses and report on budgetary performance.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design plans, material lists, and progress reports.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in interior design execution, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.

Skills:

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Must have two wheeler with a valid license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with sustainable design practices and materials.
Certification from a recognized interior design organization.
