Together with the Government of Nepal (GoN), civil society, and the private sector, FHI 360 works collaboratively in the areas of HIV, family planning (FP)/reproductive health (RH), health security, antimicrobial resistance, nutrition, COVID-19 response, procurement, and supply chain management, local capacity strengthening, civil society and media strengthening, governance reform and the environment and climate change.

Integrated Health Information Management System (IHIMS) Support

Key Responsibilities

Assess existing Information System of HIV and provide a strategic approach to build a national HIV Information System in line with the Government of Nepal (GoN) integration policy.
Work closely with government counterparts to mobilize GoN resources for HIV information system and then again integration to HIV National information system/IHIMS.
Identify gaps and/or areas for improvements on future state of health information system of HIV.
Coordinate and collaborate with national center for AIDS and STD control (NCASC), IHIMS, Provinces, Health Offices, Local level government (LLGs) and service delivery points (SDPs) for effective utilization of HIV-related information and contribute eLMIS/Supply Chain Management (SCM) in all HIV SDPs and improve reporting, particularly from SDPs.
Coordinate and collaborate with a different stakeholder who is working directly and indirectly in HIV strategic information system and contribute to the strategic information Technical Working Group (SI TWG)
Work with relevant entities to build capacity on monitoring and evaluation system of NCASC and IHIMS.
Coordinate for the integration of all reporting formats related to HIV prevention in District Health Information System (DHIS2).

Qualifications

Master’s degree in public health.
Knowledge and experience in working with health management information system of Nepal.
Sound knowledge in DHIS2.
Good analytical skills and networking skills to engage with key stakeholders.
Ability to write clearly and concisely in both languages (Nepali and English).
Sound in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
