Lacuna is currently witnessing growth and is looking for an Innovation and Insights Lead who will add value to a dynamic, multi-skilled and passionate group of individuals. The successful candidate, based in Kathmandu, will work with the team, researching, monitoring and analyzing trends and inspirations that have a global impact on consumer behavior, related technologies and broader business environment.

  • Related Bachelors or Masters in consumer behavior, marketing, innovation and related fields
  • Minimum 5 years as an innovation consultant work experience
  • Eagerness to take on new roles and responsibilities and take ownership when required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking capability
  • Analytical, critical and lateral thinking skills
  • Acts as a leader, takes initiative & intuitively solves problems
  • Excellent Project Management Skills
  • Ability to investigate, research and connect large amounts of information and summaries this into workable formats for internal and external purposes

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
  • Act as a link between South Africa and Nepal team
  • Leading and motivating the team to ensure quality work and the delivery of customer excellence
  • Monitor and track work performance and provide feedback accordingly
  • Liaise with the Project Leads to improve team performance
  • Monitor and track team leaves and ensure it is updated onto Zoho People Platform
  • Monitor Float to ensure it is updated regularly
  • Liaise with ITONICS Management for daily operation
  • Involvement with ITONICS team for team events/ Offsite
  • Conduct team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
  • Involvement in the recruitment process
  • Proper on boarding of new employees to make sure they are comfortable
  • Continuously device plans for improvement of daily operation/work/team
  • Acts with initiative, intuitively solving problems; working to improve overall business performance
  • Pro-active involvement in People development & HR matters
  • We foster an ‘all hands-on- deck’ culture, so you may dabble in other areas too
