Information Technology Services is one of the key support functions of UMN that provides ICT-related solutions that support UMN, its teams and employees to do their work as efficient, effective, transparent, and secure as possible, according to UMN’s mission, vision, strategies, and policies. The primary purpose of this position is to equip the organisation, teams and individual staff with adequate tools, systems, knowledge and skills for information and communication to meet their objectives.

Qualification and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. A management degree will be an asset.
• 3+ years of experience of managing IT infrastructure and services.
• Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
• Certifications like RHCE, CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, VCP, ITIL is desirable for proven competency.
• Proficient in firewall applications, computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Software, including Server, Exchange Server, Office 365 platform, SharePoint, VMWARE system and Cisco Networks.
