Sonam Gear is a clothing retailer and manufacturer. We started as one small outlet in 2011, with a pure intention of making Nepal-made clothes for tourists as well as our local customers. 

We are now booming as a retailer with 20 retail outlets across Nepal with at least 200-300 staffs working with Sonam. We produce summer wear such as shorts, t-shirts, windcheaters as well as winter wears suchas down jackets, primaloft, fleece jackets.

Job Description

The Incharge - Data Entry & Distribution Department will be responsible for overseeing and managing the accurate entry of product and inventory data, as well as the efficient distribution of goods across our retail network. This position ensures that inventory records are up-to-date, product movement is well-tracked, and all logistics support smooth retail operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the entry of inventory, product details, pricing, and stock levels into internal systems.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data entries from production to store level.
  • Regularly audit data for discrepancies and coordinate with relevant departments for correction.
  • Monitor real-time inventory levels across all retail outlets and warehouses.
  • Generate inventory reports and provide actionable insights to the management team.
  • Plan and oversee the distribution of products from warehouse to retail outlets.
  • Coordinate with store managers and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Maintain detailed records of all dispatches, returns, and stock transfers.
  • Lead and manage a team of data entry operators and distribution support staff.
  • Train new team members and ensure SOPs are followed.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Work with IT and ERP teams to enhance data and distribution workflows.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the data-entry or distribution pipeline and recommend solutions.
