About the organization
Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited is a public limited company incorporated on 7 Bhadra 2059 (July 23, 2002) as per prevalent Acts of Nepal, with objective to develop and invest in hydropower projects. This Company has developed 5 MW Mailun Khola Hydropower Project in Rasuwa district and its operation is for a period of 35 years under a Construction & Generation License issued by prevalent HMG of Nepal on the basis of a power purchase agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority.
This Company was converted into a public company with effect from 6 Bhadra 2071 (22 August 2014) as Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) with Registration No.: 125838/071/072.
MKJVCL has completed its entire project construction works and has been successfully Generating Power of 5 MW since 19th Asar 2071.
