  • Experience in design of hydropower projects
  • Experience in large-scale concreting and/or underground excavation
  • Good knowledge of layout surveys using total stations
  • Good knowledge of laboratory and quality control procedures
  • Good knowledge of MS Office package, especially MS Word and MS Excel 
  • Good knowledge and experience with AUTOCAD, MS Project/ Primavera, etc.
  • Good report writing and presentation skills

Preffered Qualification:

  • Masters degree in Structural/ Hydropower/ Hydraulics/Geotechnical Engineering desirable 

Job Description

  • Design and construction supervision of civil structures of hydro-power projects (diversion structures, underground structures, powerhouse, etc.)
  • Coordination with electromechanical and hydro-mechanical works
  • Quality control
  • Quantity measurement and certification
  • Bill verification and certification
  • Progress monitoring
  • Preparation of various reports
  • Appropriate decisions taking as per the need of the site situation
