Qualification and Skills:

  • Proven work experience in HR management (at least 2 to 5 years), preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations in context of Nepal.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized HR Manager to support our Human Resources department. This role will involve managing various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive work environment.

1. HR Strategy Development:

  • Design and implement HR strategies that align with the hospital’s objectives and labor Act – NEPAL
  • Conduct a needs assessment to identify gaps in current HR practices and implement the standard according to the best HR practice

2. Policy and Procedure Creation:

  • Develop HR policies and procedures, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management and employee relations.
  • Develops the HR documentation practice with statutory compliance as per Nepal health regulatory bodies
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and healthcare regulations.

3. Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Lead the recruitment process, from job description creation to interviewing and hiring by maintaining all the documentation and evidence-based process
  • Develops the HR pool and master sheet of HR with all vital information and updates the HR data bank of human resource

4. Employee Onboarding and Training:

  • Identify training needs and development needs and develop the monthly training calendar and tracks the training process and maintain the documentation.
  • Coordinate with different departments for training plans and implement the CME program in hospital

5. Performance Management:

  • Establish a performance appraisal system that fosters employee growth and accountability.
  • Prepare an effective payroll system.
  • Develops the HR contingency plan and implements in standard

6. Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely manner.

7. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Evaluate and recommend competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Implement and manage payroll processes and benefits administration.

8. HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain HR metrics to measure effectiveness and improve practices.
  • Prepare reports for hospital leadership on HR-related trends and issues.

9. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Mitigate risks related to employee relations and workplace safety.

10. Cultural Development:

  • Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the hospital.
  • Encourage employee engagement and participation in hospital initiatives.
