Metro Market is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR Assistant - Training and Development to support employee learning, onboarding, performance development, and training coordination across our retail stores. The ideal candidate should have experience in the retail sector, possess a valid two-wheeler driving license with a personal vehicle for regular store visits, and be passionate about developing employees.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate induction and onboarding programs for new employees.
Organize and monitor training programs for store and head office employees.
Conduct regular store visits to assess training needs and provide on-the-job coaching.
Maintain employee training records and prepare training reports.
Assist in developing training materials, SOPs, and learning content.
Monitor employee performance during probation and submit feedback reports.
Coordinate performance appraisal and employee development initiatives.
Support employee engagement and organizational development activities.
Ensure HR policies and operational procedures are implemented consistently across branches.
Perform other HR-related duties assigned by management.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HR, preferably in the retail sector.
Experience in Training & Development will be an added advantage.
Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
Willing to travel frequently to different store locations.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to prepare reports and maintain documentation.
