Job Description

The HR Officer is responsible for supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, training and development, and compliance. This role ensures smooth HR operations, aligns HR initiatives with business goals, and fosters a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in workforce planning and talent acquisition.
  • Prepare job descriptions, post job openings, and screen applications.
  • Conduct initial interviews and coordinate interview schedules.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new employees.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Address employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and grievance handling.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and well-being programs.

3. HR Administration & Compliance:

  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation as required.
  • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures.

4. Training & Development:

  • Identify employee training needs and coordinate training programs.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.

5. Payroll & Benefits Administration:

  • Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy in attendance and leave records.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and queries.

6. Performance Management:

  • Assist in the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Support employees and managers in goal setting and feedback sessions.
