Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Performing physical assessments*
Conducting mass screenings (at the start of every school year; physicals and vision & hearing; others as needed) *
Dispensing medications
Accompanying children to medical appointments
Planning and prioritizing follow-up care
Providing health promotion and counseling
Promoting and assisting in the control of communicable diseases
Identify students at risk
Teaching health related classes to children and staff
Collecting and maintaining health data
Maintaining school infirmary and medical supplies
To care children in absence of home parents
Working with the cook to foster good nutrition
Collaborating with the staff to encourage physical and emotional health and wellness

Note: The Kailash Nurse will live on campus to be available to respond flexibly to health issues as they arise.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Qualification and Work experience:

Fresher or minimum 1 year experience in school nursing or boarding school healthcare or hospitals.

Benefits:

Rs 19,500 – Rs 25,000 monthly salary with free accommodation and food.
Provident Fund after 6 months of probation period.
