Hospital Physiotherapy Officer

Okhaldhunga Community Hospital (OCH) is a project of United Mission to Nepal Medical and Development Trust (UMN MDT), working in communities for the health, education, and self-reliance of those living in poverty in Nepal, carrying out other social service work for the public good. It is a 50-bed general hospital east of Kathmandu providing quality and affordable healthcare to the people of Okhaldhunga and surrounding districts.

The hospital has been running a Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) project in Okhaldhunga since 2020 whose goal is to transform Okhaldhunga into a disability-inclusive society, and a mental health project for both hospital and community since 2022. Both projects are expected to continue for many years to come.

OCH is pleased to announce exciting opportunities for Physiotherapist

Position: Hospital Physiotherapy Officer 
Required No: 1

Main Role:

  • Day-to-day responsibility for physiotherapy services and treatment of inpatients, outpatients and rehabilitation.

Qualification 

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy from a recognized university with Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) registration. 

Preferred Experience

  • Neurological Rehabilitation Experience.
  • 2 or more years’ broad exposure to physiotherapy assessment and treatment.

Grade level - 8

Salary and benefits are according to OCH standards.
