The Hospital Director will provide strategic, academic, clinical, and administrative leadership to ensure excellence in patient care, medical education, and institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and direction for hospital operations, academic integration, and clinical services.
Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical governance.
Oversee administrative, financial, and human resource management of the hospital.
Coordinate effectively with academic departments, clinical heads, and regulatory authorities.
Lead strategic planning, policy implementation, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with national health regulations, accreditation standards, and institutional policies.
Represent the hospital in professional, academic, and regulatory forums.
Promote ethical practices, teamwork, and continuous professional development.
Qualification & Experience
Professor or Associate Professor level
MD (Doctor of Medicine) from a recognized institution
Proven leadership and administrative experience in a medical college and/or teaching hospital
Demonstrated experience in hospital management, academic coordination, and clinical governance
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
In-depth understanding of hospital administration and medical education systems
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital environment
High standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
