Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a motivated Highway Engineer to supervise and support construction activities at the Baguwa Bridge site in Makwanpur. The role involves ensuring quality execution of highway and bridge works, monitoring site progress, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining safety and technical standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise highway and bridge-related construction activities at site.
Ensure work execution complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor construction progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, survey teams, and project management.
Conduct quantity verification and assist in measurement works.
Ensure proper implementation of safety standards and site discipline.
Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring activities.
Identify technical issues at site and provide practical engineering solutions.
Maintain proper documentation of site activities and construction records.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Experience: 1–2 Years
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Good knowledge of road/highway construction and bridge works.
Basic understanding of surveying, material testing, and quality control procedures.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering-related software is preferred.
Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure in remote/site-based conditions.
Candidate must be physically fit and willing to stay at project site.
