Sahara Nepal Saving and Credit Co-operative Society Limited (SACCOS) is a community, group and member based co-operative model microfinance institution established on April 03, 1996, registered under Co-Operative Act. 2058. It is situated at Birtamod Municipality Ward NO: 2 of Jhapa District in koshi Provence of Nepal. It is dedicated to the social and economic development of the local community by reducing the poverty. It is providing co-operative microfinance services to the members. It is also involving in a variety of social development programs, such as livelihoods, health & environment and community empowerment. It strives to raise awareness among the poverty stricken and the down trodden as well as to establish sustainable development in order to guarantee basic necessities and to achieve self-sufficiency, thus creating a legitimate society.

Sahara Nepal SACCOS is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions to provide health facilities to the families of poor and needy share members and successful implementation of the Health program of the Organization. Also, the applicant's age will be calculated based on the last date of application.

Position: Health Coordinator - 1 (One)
Duty station: Head office, Birtamod 2, Charpane, Jhapa (50% time in field)
Age: Above 21 years and below 40 years

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall coordination with Senior Management, Health Unit, Hospitals, Members and other relevant stakeholders for effective functioning of Health Unit.
• Responsible for monitoring, supervision and reporting of health programs conducted by the organization and report to administration on monthly basis.
• Responsible for hospitals visit that have agreements with the organization and make necessary coordination and create enabling environment for agreement with the hospitals to cater effective and timely service to members.
• Responsible for staff mobilization, coaching and mentoring through supportive supervision.
• Verify the bills and other documents claimed by the hospital after the treatment of the members.
• Do other tasks as assigned by the organization on need basis.

Required qualifications:

• He/she should have at least Bachelors degree in public health or Masters in Public Health with 2-3 years working experience in health insurance program, Community Health Programs.
• Knowledge about local Health system in the context of Nepal.
• Track record of generating innovative ideas and creativity.
• Excellent language skills, verbal and written communication in Nepali and English.
• Experienced in staff supervision, team mobilization and teamwork Good knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office, SPSS etc.) with ability to produce reports in English and Nepali.
