Professional Skill Required : Presentation Writing Critical Thinking Consulting Interpersonal Skills
Other Specification
  • Should possess a bachelor degree in nursing or health assistant
  • Should possess interpersonal communication skills and good report writing skills
  • Sound knowledge on program implementation will be greatly valued
  • Strong command of English & Nepali languages and good knowledge of Email/Internet, MS Office package is a must
  • Individuals with a two wheeler license and own two wheeler will be given priority

Job Description

  • Should be able to provide health education classes and run various health sessions according to the requirement of community
  • Assisting the doctor to provide medical care to patients
  • Must be profound and skillful in counseling services on various health issues
  • Must be aware about the existing government policies in health and nutrition
  • Must be able to do the nutrition assessment of children and adult in community
  • Provide family planning counseling to the target groups and distribute temporary family planning services
  • Should coordinate with the local health post and other health agencies to work in collaboration
  • Must have a good report writing skill
  • Should be able to perform program planning, program implementation, budgeting and evaluation
  • Should organize and manage the health camp in communities
  • Should prepare case studies of patients
  • Frequently field visit
  • Should support the health and nutrition related activities of other projects
