MKCL has core objective to be a Manager in Agriculture Value Chain by developing Agri business throughout the chain such as agriculture production, collection, processing, national & International marketing, research & development, technical services including supply of all agriculture inputs to farmers. Education Level : Graduate (Masters)
Experience Required : More than or equal to 5 years

Academic Qualification: Minimum Master Degree ( or equivalent) in Agriculture, Agri-business Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5-7 Years of experience in Agri-Business and proven success in an operations management role.
Age: Not exceeding 45 years as on application deadline.

  • Proven knowledge and experience of agriculture project operations.
  • Strong skills in planning, budget development and oversight.
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of organization operations and customer service.
  • Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
  • Knowledge of business improve business productivity 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Highly proficiency in the use of MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Strong organizational, communication skills & public relationship.
  • Time and priority management ability.
  • Ability to think critically in the decision-making process.
  • Candidates having multiple years of financial and account reporting experience will be given preference.

Job Description

We are looking for Head of operation for each of the following Subsidiary of Muktinath Krishi Company Ltd. as below:

  • Muktinath Seed Bank Ltd.-1
  • Muktinath Fertilizer Bank Ltd.-1
  • Muktinath Nursery Bank Ltd.-1
  • Muktinath Livestock Bank Ltd. -1
  • Muktinath Herbal Bank Ltd.-1
  • Muktinath Food Bank Ltd.-1
  • Muktinath Agro Machinery Company Ltd.-1
  • Muktinath Trading Ltd.-1

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for day-to-day operation including Sales & marketing, Sourcing, Business Development including planning, implementation & monitoring of different agri-businesses.
  • Assist Parent Company on all level of planning and responsible to apply those plans on best possible way.
  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective & technically sound ways.
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
  • Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.
  • Necessary national level coordination with Government body, Non-Government organization, partner company/organization, cooperatives and other associated entities.
  • Overall responsible to map the field requirements of seeds, fertilizer, machinery, credit facility, and make a development, supply and extension plan accordingly.
  • Responsible to see the production and processing industries establishment opportunities throughout Nepal individually or in-cooperation with business partners & cooperatives.
  • Scheduling of production, collection, marketing and sales opportunities and other task so that all activities accomplish in real time.
  • Formulation of strategic and operational objective to achieve business goal and opportunities.
  • Track the budget expenses are as per the plan.
  • To explore investment and new business opportunities in the sector.
  • Explore the company vision, mission and create an investment opportunities from Government body, Non-Government Organization and other associated bodies.
  • Supply chain management from farm to end market.
  • Responsible for market promotion, brand creation and exploration of agro products.
  • Cooperative network development from production level to marketing.
  • Take a vendors feedback and make a plan to resolve those issues.
  • Maintain and enhance the working environment with all staff community.
  • Maintain and nurture SOP’s of company at all level.
  • Other responsibilities assigned by Supervisor.
