Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for the Head of Department in Civil Engineering at Pathivara Engineering College, Purbanchal University located in Jhapa District. The Head of Department will be responsible for overseeing the academic programs, curriculum development, faculty recruitment and management, student guidance, and overall departmental administration. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of civil engineering.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field
Prior experience in academic administration is preferable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of faculty members and staff
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate and build relationships with industry partners and stakeholders
Proficiency in IT and project management.
Familiarity with university standards and processes
