Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspire and lead a team of COE.
  • Lead the development of innovative and telco industry-leading ideas and methods based on data-driven approaches to drive crucial decision-making activities.
  • Provide high-level thought leadership by working very closely with the Ncell Management Team to push smart & data-driven business expansions, growth, and re-strategizing the Company's business activities.
  • To enhance, innovate and lead a new generation of Tech-Based data-driven approaches to serve the internal customer like Commercial, Network, Customer Experience, Finance, and other different business verticals.
  • Plan, review, and monitor quality improvement of the Big-Data, BI/DW, Analytics, governance of the data.
  • Ensure the accuracy/availability of every business analytics to the key business drivers to facilitate them towards achieving organizational goal through efficient operation of enterprise and business intelligence systems.
  • Work closely with business departments to drive automations across all verticals related to data.
  • Spearhead the overall management of Big Data, BI/DW, Analytics and MIS Reporting systems.
  • Work on strategic, operational and analytical assignments that span across different operational companies, functions and business units, in industry-relevant areas including: 1. Marketing analytics, 2. Customer experience analytics, 3. Network analytics, 4. Digital analytics 5. Competitive analytics, 6. Finance Analytics, 7. Procurement Analytics 8. Sales Analytics and various other function within the company.
  • Build a culture that promotes data-driven decisions backed by investigation and collaboration around data, including identifying sources of relevant data outside the organization
  • Support in engaging business leaders to identify opportunities for data and analytics to impact key business-relevant metrics and get executive sponsorship for such initiatives.
  • Oversee and guide the Ncell COE team to build, maintain, and improve the existing business intelligence and analytics tools across the department and across the business.
  • Analyze on Resource planning occasionally to make the highest use of human capital to create a highly motivated and productive workforce. 
  • Devise and oversee training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and stay current with industry trends.
  • Devise and oversee training and development opportunities for relevant stakeholders within the organization to make their job efficient.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop analytics strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Continuously conducting thorough assessments of team members' existing skills and knowledge gaps related to analytics and AI and devising development plans for enhancing skillsets.
  • Manage the budget for analytics projects, including resource allocation, software/hardware costs, and other related expenses.

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Business/ Statistics/ Engineering with 8 years of experience and 5+ years managerial experience in Telecom analytics and related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Statistics/Engineering with 10 years of experience and 5+ years managerial experience in Telecom analytics and related field.

Functional Knowledge

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business leaders.
  • Deep Understanding of Telecom Industry, awareness of industry specific trends and challenges covering entire spectrum of Telecom business - Commercial, Strategy, Technology, IT and other core functions.
  • Ability to align analytics initiatives with overall business strategy and objectives.
  • Able to recommend opportunities for the company to monetize or improve its bottom line, processes, and strategy.
  • Able to create the linkages of his/her own function with other parts of the organization to generate greater business value.
  • Ability to work across multiple work streams – Business / IT/ Procurement teams etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, interpretation and conceptual competencies; passionate about creating value through analytical methods and data analysis
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of analysts, Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of long-term business strategies.
