Job Description

  • Creating and developing a long-term plan and strategy for development of the Electronics Category 
  • Achieve Business targets and have robust plans to adapt or maneuver as per category/business requirement 
  • End to end ownership of products within category assortment building to Customer Experience 
  • Manage a team of Vendor Management resources. Develop and coach team in managing high profile brands
  • Manage Portfolio of Categories: New brand acquisition, Assortment acquisition based on data analysis, Shape long term portfolio expansion built on both micro and macro trends
  • Vendor sourcing strategy, vendor relationship management
  • Working closely with Digital/Marketing/Onsite teams to drive category sales. Also parallelly manage and optimize marketing spends for the category

Requirements:

  • Should have completed their Masters' degree and more than 4 years of Leadership experience with good Decision making skills
  • Should have good Communication, Technical and Analytical skills, be a good team player
  • Be able to identify opportunities amongst stakeholders within the ecosystem and negotiate or barter with partners to utilize each other’s strength
  • Bring in initiatives and drive them to grow the category business
  • Able to establish relationship with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Category Analytics: proficient in analytics to identify growth areas and execute
