Job Description

  • Develop and manage Daraz’s brand strategy as well as corresponding brand elements to maximize the brand’s equity through media planning, creative development, metrics, market research, events, and other initiatives
  • Execute plan for thought leadership initiatives, using a wide range of content in order to build awareness and credibility in the market
  • Draw the departments’ budget and its subsequent allocation within the department
  • Establish processes for bench-marking the brand’s performance, team KPIs, and metrics measuring campaign effectiveness
  • Conduct market analyses, gap analyses, financial modelling and monitor the competitive activity in the market and facilitate the realization of new brand marketing opportunities
  • Perform data analysis including assigning numerical value to essential functions for performance assessment and prepare reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
  • Spearhead strategic planning including long-term goals and short-term objectives in alignment with Daraz’s mission

Requirements

  • Completed Master’s degree in the field of Marketing, Business Administration, Management or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing, social media, strategy or management consultancy intensive role
  • Strong data analysis, reporting, excel and presentation skills with analytical ability
  • Experienced in overseeing and managing large teams
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of industry’s best practices
