  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or BBS degree in a related field
  • Should have good knowledge of taxation
  • Should have good knowledge of accounting software including Tally
  • Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
  • Should have leadership skill and should be able to lead a team
  • Should have sound knowledge of Nepalese Tax and Other Relevant Laws
  • Capable of handling work pressure and a team player
  • Strong quantitative background – data-analysis experience, MS Excel knowledge and presentation skills are expected

Job Description

  • Lead the finance and admin department
  • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
  • Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets
  • Prepare Financial Progress Report (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually)
  • Preparation of annual financial statements
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the Executive management team
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
  • Preparation of Annual budgets and coordinating & managing various audits
  • Manage intercompany transactions with multiple subsidiaries on timely manner
  • Recording & filing of all invoices and keeping books of accounts updated
  • Managing Account Receivables and Payables
  • Preparing tax returns and ensuring that taxes are paid properly and on time
  • Manage reporting requirements, within defined timelines, for various stakeholders
  • Assisting the team in its day-to-day work to ensure quality & timely deliverables
  • Lead the overall administrative and financial activities
  • Verify the monthly reconciliation report of bank account and expenditure for the reporting period
  • Develop necessary reporting formats for having sound finance management of organization
  • Other tasks as assigned in regards to financial reporting, verification and accounting
  • Any other job assigned on need basis
