 Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef at Bhola Foods located in Kathmandu. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and supervising the kitchen staff. They will ensure that food quality and presentation meet the highest standards and adhere to all health and safety regulations. The Head Chef will also be responsible for managing inventory, controlling costs, and collaborating with the management team to develop new menu items or special promotions.

Qualifications

• Culinary skills, including cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation
• Experience in menu planning and recipe development
• Leadership and management skills, including the ability to supervise and train kitchen staff
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
• Creativity and innovation in food preparation and menu design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Culinary degree or certification is a plus
