We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Group Operations Officer to support the operations of a growing group of companies that includes research and consulting companies, restaurants, and other business ventures.
The position will coordinate with managers, technical leads, focal persons, finance staff, and restaurant management to ensure smooth operations across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular meetings with managers and focal persons to identify operational and management issues.
- Monitor staff discipline, attendance, punctuality, workplace behaviour, performance, and compliance with organizational systems.
- Follow up on issues such as delayed work, poor customer handling, weak coordination, and repeated operational problems.
- Support managers in taking corrective actions and ensure agreed actions are implemented.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews, and performance assessments across the Group.
- Develop and improve SOPs, policies, checklists, reporting formats, and other management systems as required.
- Ensure organizational culture and basic management standards are maintained consistently across different Group entities.
- Review monthly operational and expenditure reports and identify areas requiring management attention. Coordinate with finance staff regarding operational and cost-control issues without performing accounting or taxation work directly.
- Guide managers on administrative, procurement, vendor, and supplier-related matters.
- Work closely with the Restaurant General Manager to review restaurant staffing, discipline, systems, and operational challenges.
- Prepare concise management updates for the Founders and escalate only matters requiring Founder-level decisions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resource Management, or a related management discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience managing a branch, department, business unit, operational area, or multiple teams/functions.
- Experience in operations, administration, HR, organizational management, or business management.
- Experience working across different departments or business units will be an advantage.

Reporting
The Group Operations Officer will report directly to the Founders and work closely with management teams across the Group.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
The position may require visits to different Group business locations and occasional work outside normal hours depending on operational requirements.
