Job Description

Plans and illustrates concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetics.
Develop concepts, graphics and layouts, including making decisions about fonts, images, readability and readers' needs.
Coordinates with internal teams, including marketing and brand, and outside stakeholders.
Ensures operation of design equipment and software by completing preventive maintenance requirements; and troubleshooting malfunctions.
Adapt to new and emerging trends; develop innovative Ideas. Social Media Ad designs
Collaborate closely with editors, journalists, photographers, and other team members to ensure that design elements complement editorial content and adhere to the newspaper's style guidelines.
Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines. Prioritize tasks and manage the time effectively to accommodate last-minute changes and updates.
Maintain high-quality standards in all design elements, including layout, typography, graphics, and photography. Pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the newspaper.
