ROLE PURPOSE:
The position holder is responsible to oversee the compliance and requirement of implementing grants funded by various sources and quality reporting in time. In addition, s/he will also identify areas where support and improvement is required and ensure follow up mechanism is in the place to meet and maintain the standard and operational efficiency of specific grants. This position holder is responsible for grants management related work and as assigned by supervisor. The position holder requires to make frequent field visits to ensure field based staff and NGOs have adequate support to meet and maintain compliance requirement.
S/he will also be responsible for the collation and submission EC and ECHO funded projects and others programdonor reports and disseminating best practices and procedures to country offices, Regional Offices and NGOs.
The purpose of this post is to support Sr. Finance Manager – Grant, Finance Coordinator Grantsfor efficient and effective finance and budget management of the program’s overall award portfolio.
