Job Description

The Grade Teacher will be responsible for contributing to the school positive environment, taking initiatives for student/school development while coming with creativity and solutions, meeting parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and determining children’s priorities and resource needs.

Some of the major deliverables of the Grade Teacher are:

  • Following up on a variety of learning activities with adequate planning that includes assessment strategies
  • Encouraging the curiosity and participation of students in all teaching-learning activities
  • Demonstrating a strong command over the subject matter and its relevance to real life situations
  • Recording students’ behaviors/skills/strengths/ weaknesses through thorough documentation
  • Actively communicating with parents on the progress of their child along with any challenges/achievements they may have experienced
  • Provides materials and resources for children to explore and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational practices.
  • Encourage and participate in school-wide events, extracurricular programs, and student initiatives.
