VRock & Company Pvt. Ltd. is seeking motivated and detail-oriented interns to support ongoing research, policy analysis, public financial management, local governance assignments and energy sector assignments.
The internship position will be recruited to work alongside experienced consultants on live assignments. Assignments may involve supporting research, policy analysis, public finance, local governance, institutional assessments, socioeconomic analysis, energy-sector assignments, hydropower, electricity markets and trade, energy policy and regulation, and energy-sector financial and economic analysis.
This internship position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience working on live consulting assignments while developing analytical, research, and professional skills, alongside experienced professionals in a multidisciplinary environment.
Position Summary
The Governance and Energy Intern will support project teams in policy research, public finance, local governance, institutional assessments, and socioeconomic analysis through research, data collection and analysis, field activities, preparation of analytical outputs, and project documentation under the guidance of senior consultants. Additionally they will gain practical exposure to Nepal’s evolving energy sector and contribute to assignments involving hydropower and renewable energy, electricity markets and cross-border trade, energy policy and regulation, financial and economic analysis of energy projects and sector initiatives.

Duty Station: VRock Company, Kathmandu, Nepal (with field visits as required)
