Job Description

As the General Manager at Axis Group, you will play a pivotal role in leading and directing all aspects of our operations, strategy, and growth initiatives. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business performance, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the continued success and expansion of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, market penetration, and revenue expansion.
  • Identify new opportunities for diversification, partnerships, and product development to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including sales, marketing, finance, logistics, and customer service functions.
  • Establish and maintain robust operational processes and systems to optimize efficiency, productivity, and performance across all departments.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to empower team members and enhance their capabilities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Anticipate customer needs and market trends, ensuring that Axis Group remains responsive and adaptable to changing demands.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical guidelines governing the healthcare sector.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality assurance and product safety, driving a culture of integrity and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management.
  • Direct the employee assessment process.
  • Provides feedback and insight on the performance of the facility and relays them for further strategic development and solution formulation.
  • Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the company.
  • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership experience in the trading industry.
  • Strong strategic planning and business development skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound financial acumen and analytical skills, with the capability to interpret data, forecast trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and achieving measurable results in a dynamic and competitive environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the healthcare sector in Nepal would be advantageous.
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
