Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Advises the Board
Advocates/promotes organization and stakeholder change related to organization mission
Supports motivation of employees in organization products/programs and operations
Ensures staff and Board have sufficient and up-to-date information
Interfaces between Board and employees
Interfaces between organization and members
Formulates policies and planning recommendations to the Board
Decides or guides courses of action in operations by staff
Oversees operations of organization
Implements plans
Manages human resources of organization
Manages financial and physical resources Oversee the organization’s daily operations to ensure efficient communication flow, product flow, quality service and cost-effective management of resources
Plan and design businesses, new products and services as well as implement in coordination with various level and external parties
Maintain strong relationship with customers for cooperative development
Should have excellent computer skill and English proficiency
Ability to formulate internal policies as per requirements
Play active role in bringing technology for betterment of products, services and business processes
Assists in the selection and evaluation of general members
Makes recommendations, supports Board during orientation and self-evaluation
Effectively manages the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations

Note : Preference will be given to the candidate having 5 year of experience in Co-Operative Sector.

Other Specification

Bachelor's Degree in Management or Equivalent with minimum 5 years work experience in managerial level
Applicant should have experience in bank/cooperative institution in managerial position in national level organization
Should be well versed with NRB Directives, Cooperative Act, Tax and other related prevailing laws
Computer/accounting software literate
Good managerial and organizational skill
