Program Overview:

We are seeking game development enthusiasts interested in developing fun and entertaining games, specifically focused on children. This program offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in game development, working with GDevelop and other development tools. You'll be involved in researching, documenting, and developing game mechanics, animations, and other essential elements of game design and development. You will have to work with strong visualization and knowledge of development software such as Gdevelop. This free training program will provide you with valuable experience in game development.

• Those who enjoy conceptualizing and designing game scenarios, and who have a keen interest in bringing their ideas to life through game development.
• Students or early-career professionals with a basic understanding of programming languages like C++ and C#, and an interest in applying these skills to game development.
• Those who want to enrich their skillset in game development with practical application. 

What You Will Learn: 

• Hands-on experience in designing and developing games using GDevelop.
• Integrating and syncing audio elements with animations and movements.
• Basic programming skills in C++, C#, and PHP applied to game development.
• Enhancing problem-solving by researching and documenting game design challenges.
• Collaborating with a team to improve communication and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research game concepts, scenes, and other relevant elements for GDevelop. 
• Assist in developing and optimizing game mechanics, focusing on performance and efficiency using C++.
• Contribute to identifying and resolving issues in the game development process.
• Work on the integration of key game features, including player controls, animations, dialogues, and sound effects, ensuring these elements are effectively incorporated into the game.
• Assist in integrating backend services, such as leaderboards or multiplayer functionalities, using PHP, and ensure seamless communication between the game and server-side components.
• Work closely with team members on various aspects of game development, providing input on design choices, testing game features, and ensuring the overall quality of the game.

Qualifications: 

• IT-related educational background is preferred
• Game concept writing ability with strong visualization from an educational perspective
• Knowledge programming languages such as C++, C# & PHP is preferred
• Familiarity with WordPress and game engines such as Unity will be a plus.
• Familiarity with or strong interest in game development, particularly using GDevelop.
• Ability to conceptualize and develop game scenarios and mechanics.
• Attention to detail and enthusiasm for game development.
• Additionally, having a solid basic numerical analysis can be advantageous.

Certification and Internship Opportunity:

• Certification: All participants who complete the training program will receive a certificate from Danson Training, recognizing their achievements and skills acquired.
• Internship Selection: Based on your performance, knowledge, and dedication during the training, selected participants will be offered an internship opportunity at Danson Solutions. This is a chance to gain further experience and possibly transition into a full-time role.
