Reports to : Events and Development Manager
Location: TFN House, Chakupat, Lalitpur
No. of positions: 1
Salary: As per TFN Policy
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in relevant field
Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's degree

POSITION SUMMARY

The role of Fundraising Coordinator is to support the planning and execution of fundraising strategies to support and sustain the work of TFN. S/He will also be responsible to maintain the donor database, tracking system, research and analysis for the unit and proposal and report writing.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of donors through meetings, events, and correspondence
  • Support in keeping donors continuously  engaged continuously through  events, meetings, newsletters, grants);
  • Support in increasing donor renewal and upgrade rates, and expanding the donor base; 
  • Maintain efficient operations (i.e., stakeholder, prospect and donor tracking systems, data management, meeting prep and download systems, gift processing);  
  • Support in report writing and ensure it is as per requirement of supporters and partner; 
  • Identification of prospective donors and lead communications with them including proposal submission and follow up.
  • Responsible to collaborate with communication team to develop impactful storytelling, including newsletter and social media content
  • Stay informed about the trends and best practices in fundraising to enhance fundraising effectiveness

  • Advanced writing skills in English and Nepali languages and 
  • Advanced skills in the office suite

  • Understanding of issues in education and education inequality in Nepal
  • Demonstrates people skills in building authentic relationships with internal and external collaborators
  • Outcome driven and have the ability to plan and prioritize one's work to meet deadlines.
  • Able to maintain high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to react with appropriate level of urgency to situations and events that require quick response
