Job Description

We’re currently looking for an Associate Full Stack MERN Developer to join our in-house development team on a full-time basis for an initial six-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension. This role is a great fit for someone who’s confident working across both backend and frontend, specifically with Node.js and React.js, and who genuinely enjoys crafting clean, scalable code and modern, user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, following modern development best practices.
Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces with React.js, with a strong focus on delivering a great user experience.
Use Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui to design clean, consistent, and reusable UI components.
Work with REST APIs to manage smooth and efficient communication between the frontend and backend.
Collaborate closely with designers and senior developers to plan, build, and refine features together.
Keep code organized and easy to maintain using Git and good version control habits.
Take part in team discussions, code reviews, and daily stand-ups to stay aligned and support each other’s growth.

Required Skills & Experience:

At least 2 years of hands-on experience working as a full-stack developer using React.js and Node.js.
Solid knowledge of backend development with Node.js, including Express.js, routing, middleware, and managing data.
Comfortable building modern, responsive frontends in React.js, especially using Tailwind CSS and component libraries like shadcn/ui.
Strong foundation in core web technologies like JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Practical experience in building and integrating APIs using RESTful principles.
Familiar with Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab for version control and team collaboration.

Nice to Have (Plus Points):

Experience using Vite as a modern, fast frontend build tool.
Comfortable working with common authentication flows like JWT and session-based auth.
Familiar with modern development tools and best practices, including debugging, testing, and deployment workflows.
Bonus points if you’ve had exposure to real-time features or worked with microservices architecture.
