Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Laravel and React, and a solid understanding of AI integration. You’ll be working on high-impact software systems, helping modernise and enhance their bespoke internal platform.

This is a fully remote position with the opportunity to work directly with a UK-based client. If you’re someone who thrives on writing clean, maintainable code, and you're excited about integrating modern AI solutions into real-world applications, this is the role for you.

Key Technical Abilities

Strong understanding of Laravel (5+ years) and the broader PHP ecosystem
Proficient in React.js and Tailwind CSS
Proven experience integrating AI/ML APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Gemini, or similar)
Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience with MySQL, including performance optimization and data integrity
Familiarity with SOLID principles and refactoring best practices
Able to write clean, testable code and work with version control (Git)
Familiarity with prompt engineering or workflow orchestration for AI is a plus
Experience with Laravel events and middleware
Working knowledge of component-driven development and improving design systems
Exposure to DevOps tools, Docker, or serverless environments is a bonus

Responsibilities

Integrate and experiment with AI/ML APIs into existing systems and greenfield applications
Design and build dashboards, reports, and alerting features
Improve and maintain internal component libraries and toolsets
Collaborate on both backend and frontend development
Drive the enhancement of application performance, security, and scalability
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
