We are looking for a Frontend Engineer who is passionate about combining visual UI design and functional clean codes. You will work with our UX Researcher / UI Designer and implement visual elements to create interactive experiences for the intended users.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Study and discuss wireframes, prototypes, user research / journeys and UI with the team
• Develop new user interfaces, features and UI Components
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
• Build reusable code base and libraries for future use
• Use CSS Architectures like BEM or OOCSS to write clean readable codebase
• Optimize applications and code base for maximum speed and scalability

Technical Requirements:

• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Good understanding of GitHub, Terminal and VS Code
• Deep understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and ES6+
• Deep understanding of CSS Grids, Flexbox, Floats, and Bootstrap
• Experience in CSS Frontend Web Tools like SCSS, Gulp, Fractal
• Deep knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Extensive experience in Responsive Web Designs and Mobile First Design methods
• Understanding of back end applications and ability to consume APIs
