Job Title: Frontend Developer (WordPress Theming)

Sherpa Technologies is seeking a talented Frontend Developer with a strong background in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to join our dynamic team. We specialize in creating high-quality WordPress themes that provide exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement custom WordPress themes and plugins using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and a seamless user experience.
Maintain and troubleshoot existing WordPress sites, resolving issues as they arise.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in frontend development and WordPress.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness of all themes.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, specifically with WordPress theming.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of PHP and MySQL is a plus.
Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a bonus.
Understanding of SEO best practices and website accessibility.
