What you’ll be doing:

• American foreign investment company rapidly expanding our development team here in Nepal.
• Work closely with business and product to analyze requirements and complete system design, development, expansion, or code reconstruction.
• Work on our state of the art most advanced revolutionary technology.
• Design and plan the overall architecture and technical specifications of the system, and implement them in daily development practices.
• Responsible for tackling technical difficulties and designing and coding key systems.
• Use your skills and work with the best company of dedicated software developers.

Your Impact

• You will report to the Senior Manager and be a part of our Support Portal team.
• Design and develop simple user-centric interfaces to complex systems/data.
• Be able to build an intuitive and delightful interface to support a set of complex user behaviors.
• Be part of a team that owns all phases of the product development life cycle, from conception to delivery to customers, including support/operation if required.
• Build quality and security directly into the product by taking advantage of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across the world, mentor, share information with and learn from other engineers to help drive continuous improvement of our platform without losing focus on the flow that generates customers’ value.
• Bring an inquisitive, innovative, and collaborative attitude to problem solving.

We’re excited if you have:

• 2-10 years of experience in web development.
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (Ajax), Angular
• Experience in cross-browser layout for different platforms
• Knowledge of the front-end frameworks like React, Bootstrap or Vue and experience in implementing complex tasks is a big plus.
• Knowledge of version control GIT and other API testing tools.
• Experience with design front end look and feel is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• A desire to work together as a team and help each other to grow.
• Built production applications using JS against complex APIs.
• Well versed in the JavaScript/ECMAScript ecosystem.
• Experience with Typescript and Tailwind CSS.
• Worked iteratively from requirements to wireframes to running code.
• Experience in a TDD environment and the knowledge to know when testing is sufficient.

Pluses

• “Full stack” experience into the back-end/API layer.
• Understanding of running Solid-JS/React/SSR on Kubernetes.
• Data visualization experience.
• Keen on Accessibility, standards based best practice and progressive enhancement in applications via modern CSS standards, and adaptive JavaScript code.
• Opinions on the state of React and what’s next.
• Have worked in a “you build it you run it” environment, familiarity with DevOps/SRE.
• Involvement in OSS communities (not just Postgres, though that’s a double plus!).
