Role Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Officer and Social Media Handler for Shin Jidai Japanese Language Center, a language school under IGC Business Holding. The role involves managing front desk operations, assisting students and visitors, and supporting the institute’s social media presence through engaging content such as photos, reels, and short promotional videos. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a welcoming personality, and a creative mindset to help promote the center’s programs and activities while ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Operations:

Welcome and assist students, visitors, and parents in a professional and courteous manner
Provide accurate information about Japanese language courses, schedules, and fees
Handle phone calls, messages, and general inquiries efficiently
Manage student registrations and maintain proper records and documentation
Coordinate with teachers and administrative staff regarding class schedules and updates

Social Media & Promotion:

Manage and update the institute’s social media platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
Create engaging content such as photos, reels, and short promotional videos
Produce and edit TikTok or Instagram videos showcasing classes, student activities, and events
Post regular updates about courses, announcements, and cultural programs
Support promotion of institute events, including cultural exchanges and Japan–Nepal activities

Requirements:

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills (MS Word, social media platforms)
Ability to create simple videos and social media content
Friendly, responsible, and organized personality
Interest in Japanese language and culture is a plus

Preferred:

Experience in front desk/customer service
Experience with TikTok, Instagram Reels, or video editing apps (CapCut, VN, etc.)
