Job Description

We are seeking a motivated candidate to join our team as a Front Desk Officer at Aashas Health Care. You will play a crucial role in providing efficient and friendly customer service to our patients and visitors. You will be the first point of contact for anyone entering our Hospital/Clinic/Diagnostic Centre and will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients, schedule appointments, and manage records and accounts.
  • Welcome patients and visitors in person or by phone, responding to or directing inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and room utilization.
  • Keep appointments on track by notifying providers of patient arrivals, reviewing schedules, and reminding providers of delays.
  • Support patients by addressing questions, easing anxieties, and maintaining a welcoming reception area.
  • Manage patient records, ensuring information is accurately filed and easily accessible.
  • Maintain patient accounts by recording personal and financial details and processing charges.
  • Handle billing and revenue tasks, including third-party claims, credit control, and payment collection.
  • Monitor office inventory and equipment, order supplies as needed, and schedule maintenance or repairs.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and assist patients in distress.
  • Protect patient confidentiality by safeguarding medical, personal, and financial information.
  • Follow office policies and procedures, reporting necessary changes to maintain smooth operations.
  • Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks and supporting colleagues.
