PACE -Nepal Jumla, is a reputed NGO of Karnali region, invites application from qualified, committed and experienced individuals for the following position for Climate Change Adaptation for Food Security-(CAFS-Karnali) Nepal in Jumla district. The positions are initially for three-year program funded by UN World Food Program (WFP), possibility of extension and will be based in Jumla district. The candidates are required to meet the following qualification with demonstrated competencies in planning, management, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the project.

  • Should have at least two years’ related experience
  • Forest Ranger having successfully completed training from Ranger College with more than three years experience are preferred


Job Description

  • Provide technical advice for ensuring effective implementation of strategies for climate change adaptation, and alignment with activities and policies on climate change in general 
  • Prepare assigned district level trimester performance reports indicating the achievement of work plan targets and corresponding expenditures, as well as knowledge products 
  • Under the technical guidance to the PACE/ WFP/DPCU (District Project Coordination Unit), effectively implement the Project, through an interdisciplinary and comprehensive approach in the project districts Explore opportunities and advise on the adoption of climate-smart planning in on-going and future activities at community and district level
