Flood Forecasting/Early Warning System Specialist

B.Sc./M.Sc. with 7+ years of relevant experience
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in flood forecasting/Early Warning System (EWS)-related resilience/DRR initiatives in Nepal
Experience collaborating with partners and networks including the policy landscape of DRR
Familiarization with different DRR monitoring tools related to floods, landslides and EWS, to mitigate disaster risk and potential shocks
Sound knowledge of different DRR and climate change initiatives suitable for different topography
B.Sc. Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Natural Resources Management, or a closely related engineering field. M.Sc. preferred
Experience in training and capacity building
Experience on international donor-funded projects preferred. Experience on USAID-funded projects a plus.
Fluent oral/written English-Nepali language skills
