GadiCharge Pvt. Ltd. is a Charging as a Service (CaaS) provider offering end-to-end Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and solutions, creating an accessible, reliable, and efficient network of charge points that cater to the needs of EV users in Nepal, while contributing towards achieving the nation’s EV adoption goals. GadiCharge builds and operates own charging stations as well as onboards and supports franchisees (aspiring entrepreneurs, existing corporates working in a varied range of industries) to establish and operate EV Charging Stations under our brand. 

Job Summary :

We are seeking for a motivated and proactive Financial Officer to oversee and manage all financial operations of the company, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information. The role involves financial planning, reporting, risk management, compliance, and providing strategic advice to support the company's financial health and growth.  

Key Responsibilities  

1. Accounting Services

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and day-to-day accounts.  
• Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.  
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.  
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper system entries for accurate financial records.  

• Prepare and present regular financial reports to management and regulatory authorities.  
• Track the financial progress of business activities and prepare fund estimates.  
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.

• Prepare financial projection reports as required.  
• Conduct profitability analysis, financial forecasting, and budgeting in consultation with the board.  
• Assess the company’s financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.  

• Calculate and file taxes in compliance with tax laws and regulations.  
• Ensure accurate withholding tax deductions, timely deposits, and compliance with respective laws.  
• Oversee the collection, payment, and compliance with related laws, including monthly VAT return filings. 

• Ensure timely filing of annual returns and support external audits.  
• Address audit findings and implement recommended financial improvements.  

• Identify and assess financial risks, including market, operational, and credit risks.  
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.  

• Provide strategic financial advice to support business goals such as expansion, cost reduction, and profitability improvement.   

  8. Compliance Services 

• Ensure all financial activities comply with local laws, regulations, and industry standards within Nepal.  

  9. Communication

• Liaise with third-party financial institutions, including banks, tax offices, and regulatory bodies, to maintain strong professional relationships.  

  10. Others

• Determine applicable customs and excise rates for imported equipment, particularly EV charging stations, and apply for concessions as per government provisions.  
• Manage employee payroll, including wage calculations, payment processing, and tax deductions.  
• Implement financial software solutions to enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities. 
• Address other financial matters as they arise during business operations.  
• Support initiatives to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.  

Work Environment  :

• Location: Shikali Marg, Sanepa-2, Nepal.  
• Work Hours: Full-time from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, occasional overtime based on deadlines or project requirements.
