Job Description

Reports to: Finance Manager
Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 05:00 PM) from Sunday to Friday

Finance Officer is responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of the organization. S/he is to ensure the financial stability of an organization by managing its budget, forecasting financial trends, and creating financial reports.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare Financial Reports:

  • Maintaining financial records and ensuring their accuracy
  • Monitoring cash flow and preparing cash flow statements
  • Preparing and submitting financial reports to senior management
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Ensuring compliance with tax laws
  • Monitor all bank deposits and payments
  • Prepare balance sheets and invoices

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures
  • Managing budgets and ensuring that they are followed

Finance Analysis:

  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems
  • Contribute to financial audits

Coordination:

  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up- to-date
  • Other tasks assigned by the line manager
