Job Description

  • Ensure daily recording of all financial transactions of all groups of companies
  • Ensure accuracy of billing, frequency of billing, and timely settlement of bills/receivables
  • Review the daily/monthly reconciliation reports
  • Ensure optimum compliance with Income Tax, VAT, and company laws
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
  • Ensure timely settlement of staff advances, salary advances, and other advances.
  • Periodic trial balance review and ensure compliance with the chart of account
  • Monthly book closure and preparations of financial statements
  • Verification of payroll and process of the same with financial institutions
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Prepare monthly MIS, Budget Variance reports and report the business and financial insights to CFO
  • Assist CFO to prepare the Annual Budget/Strategic Financial Planning (SFP)
  • Identify the areas for automation and digitization to minimize human involvement if financial functions
  • Design and implementation of the appropriate internal control system for the effective financial operation
