Saathimart’s retail offline outlets are operated under 3 business model; Franchise owned and Franchise operated model (FOFO), franchise owned and company operated (FOCO) and company owned and company operated (COCO) and is the first o2o commerce of Nepal. Customers can order groceries online via our website www.saathimart.com and mobile application (Saathimart). Saathimart aims to delivery goods to consumer doorsteps within 12 hours of order confirmation all over nepal.

The journey started 11 years ago in 2009 from a manufacturing company. After gaining experience for more than 10 years in distributorship, retail and wholesale market in Nepal, we came up with an idea of Saathimart; a retail and online business idea. The company that would enable small as well big entrepreneurs to extend their scope by offering an online platform, enabling young and experienced entrepreneurs through affiliate marketing to earn in Nepal.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management with major Finance or higher in related field.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in Finance Department.

Requirements:

  • Should have sound knowledge of reconciliation and income tax and all the government related statutory compliance 
  • Should have complete Knowledge about Vat/Tax all other office accounting system 
  • Able to work independently 
  • Must have Good Knowledge of Accounting Software 
  • Knowledge of auditing practice & principles 
  • Must have good Knowledge and skills in MS Office Package 

Job Description

  • Prepare daily consolidated report and bank balance report
  • Facilitate in preparing departmental and overall budget and set targets
  • Facilitate in maintaining proper costing sheet of all items of transaction
  • Establishing and Controlling all cheque books/receipts as well as maintain cash control
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Knowledge of sales and purchase entry in general accounting process
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns with proper knowledge of tax and vat as per rules of Nepal Government
  • Check invoices for inaccuracies and ensure invoices are correctly approved for payment
  • Enter all account payable invoices and processing weekly payment runs smoothly on Friday
  • Maintain appropriate hardcopy files of all current period documentation an archive previous period documentation
  • Management of petty cash as well as handle general accounting quires
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts 
  • Contact clients about invoices that are past due 
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Resolve financial disputes raised by the customer service and sales teams
  • Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
  • Train and guide accounting assistants and bookkeepers
  • Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required
