Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Manage all accounting transactions
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Manage imports through LC, DAP, TT and RTGS and prepare necessary documents and deal with the bank regarding the same
Analyze raw material consumption and finished goods production reports from factory and analyze variance and ensure control
Summarize stock reports and analyze variances
Reconcile creditors & debtors accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Prepare balance sheets and profit/loss statements on monthly and quarterly basis
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Prepare Projected Balance Sheet and other Financial Statements
Prepare budget forecasts
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Prepare bank reports as per requirement and submit on timely basis
Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
Assist subodinates and provide necessary accounting knowledge if required

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 3 years

Required Age:Less than or equal to 35 years

Other Specification

Proven working experience in Trading Company and manufacturing companies of Nepal will be required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds
Preferred knowledge of accounting software (Swastik,Tally)
Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
Possess a knowledge of Trade Finance
Semi-qualified Chartered accountant/ ACCA will be given top priority
