Job Description

Manage all accounting transactions
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Manage imports through LC, DAP, TT and RTGS and prepare necessary documents and deal with the bank regarding the same
Analyse raw material consumption and finished goods production reports from factory and analyse variance and ensure control
Summarize stock reports and analyse variances
Reconcile creditors & debtors accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Prepare balance sheets and profit/loss statements on monthly and quarterly basis
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Prepare Projected Balance Sheet and other Financial Statements
Prepare budget forecasts
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Prepare bank reports as per requirement and submit on timely basis
Ensure proper insurance coverage of the fixed assets and inventories of the company at appropriate insurance premium
Prepare necessary documents and deal with the surveryor and the insurance company in case of any claims of loss/damages of insured property
Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
